Draft for legal review

Privacy policy

This draft is for the owner and counsel. It is not legal advice and it is not a final policy until the owner publishes it as such.

Browdex stores your account email, display name, plan, device names, API key prefixes, proxy hostnames, profile names, tags, notes, sync status, checksums, and encrypted profile snapshots. Snapshots may contain cookies and local storage from sites you visited in that profile.

The server does not use snapshot contents for advertising. Logs record actions and ids, not snapshot bytes, passwords, or email link tokens.

You can export your account from Settings. Deleting the account removes live snapshot files, revokes sessions, keys, and devices, and replaces the email with a non-routable address. Database backups may still contain older ciphertext until the backup rotation described in the operations guide, which keeps seven daily dumps.
